St. Paul’s Blessing of the Animals Service

10/27 UPDATE - The pet blessing service will be held inside St. Paul’s Fellowship Hall this morning due to weather. Well-behaved pets are still welcome!

All people and pets are invited to a special Sunday worship service on the front lawn of St. Paul's Christian Church on Sunday, October 27 at 11am. During this special service, we will celebrate God's gift of animals and bless our faithful companions. If your pet recently passed away or if it's better for your pet to stay at home, you are invited to bring a photo or an item belonging to your pet for a blessing.

This outdoor service is weather-permitting and will last around 1-hour. If your pet is not comfortable with strangers, please consider keeping them at home and bringing a photo or an item belonging to your pet for a blessing.

At St. Paul’s, all are welcome…and we really meant it! We believe that all people are made in the image of God, so we celebrate the diversity of God’s creation! We welcome people of all backgrounds and ethnicities, all genders and sexualities, families who are documented and undocumented, and people with theologies and beliefs different than our own. Through the diversity of God’s creation, we are able to more-fully connect with the diversity of the Divine, and for this we give thanks!
