What to Expect

Come visit us!

At 9:02 am every Sunday, we gather for Brunch Worship in the Fellowship Hall. This informal, interactive service begins with praise music and pancakes, as all ages sit together around tables. After a time for sharing a meal and discussion of the day’s theme, a pastor offers a scripture and short message, then we share communion and prayers. Music is led by the 9:02 band who plays a variety of contemporary Christian worship songs. Why 9:02? Because Psalm 9:2 says, “God Most High, I will rejoice; I will celebrate and sing because of you.”

At 11:00 am every Sunday, we gather for traditional worship in the Sanctuary. This reverent and reflective service begins with a moment of silence. We sing hymns, share prayers and receive communion, and then a pastor offers a sermon on the day’s scripture. Music is led by our choir and organist. After worship, we visit over coffee and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. Our 11:00 am worship service is also livestreamed on
St. Paul’s Facebook Page each week.

What will my kids do?

We welcome children of ALL ages and stages in worship. Crying babies, restless toddlers, and curious kids are always welcome to participate in our worship services. If your children would prefer another environment during worship, St. Paul’s nursery is open for children 3 years old and younger. Preschool and elementary-aged children are also invited to participate in our Worship & Wonder program, a Montessori-style class that invites children to experience the mystery and wonder of God through storytelling and multi-sensory materials. What to wear?

Whatever makes you comfortable! In our 9:02 service, most folks dress pretty casual. In our 11:00 service, some wear jeans, while others wear suits or dresses…and no one blinks an eye! No matter what you wear or how you express your gender, you are welcome at St. Paul’s!
